The Trust is taking part once again in The Big Give Christmas Challenge fundraising event. This year the plan is to raise money to obtain original pattern Buffers, Chimney and Safety Valve cover so that the loco will be as close as possible to the way it was turned out in 1918.

Supporters have pledged to donate £1900 to match fund donations made during the week of giving from noon on 29th November to noon on 6th December – so donations will be worth DOUBLE to the Trust (and Gift Aid for those eligible make them worth even more)
