From 8th May to 5th June The 2874 Trust is running a fund raising campaign to kick-start the process of overhauling the boiler for their 1918 built GWR heavy freight.

They have a funding pot of £2500 to match £ for £ all donations – plus, as a charity they can claim Gift Aid on all eligible donations.

For the last three years they have taken part in a national match funding campaign run by The Big Give organisation – but this year they are doing it themselves which gives the opportunity to accept donations by cheque and cash as well as through their on-line facility.
